After my routine app at the hos. last week, I was approached by a lady asking if I would be willing to take part in a survey being run by the University college London Hospitals. NHS foundation Trust.
It is designed to assess the perceptions of systemic lupus patients,of which R.A.is one.

Just thought some of you might be interested to hear about it. It was very interesting written survey covering all aspects of the disease, physical, emotional and mental, financial, care and support, how we percieve drugs and their side effects etc. extremely thorough.

It made me feel good and to some extent reassured that such thing are being taken so seriously, aches and pains are just part of the problems we face!! Just need everyone to act on its findings!

hi Zena,

any surveys that can assist to help has to be a good thing,

things have improved so much from years ago .. and long may they continue too with research.

the emotional side of it is vey important ( it was for me when newly diagnosed ) and also the drug element of which i was very scared.
